Opian Rewards offers a variety of financial products, including Funeral Cover, Life and Disability Cover, Income Protection, Short Term Insurance, Legal Insurance Cover, Hospital Insurance, Emergency Evacuation ER24, and Repatriation Cover.
Points are earned for various actions like joining the program, activating financial products, referring friends, and maintaining a minimum balance on your card. For every R1 spent, you can earn between 1 to 2.5 points based on your tier level.
There are five membership tiers: Bronze, Silver, Purple, Gold, and Platinum. Points needed to qualify for each tier vary, with Bronze being the lowest and Platinum the highest.
You can redeem your points for cash or rewards. Each point has a Rand value of R0.025. Upon redemption, the points will be deducted from your overall points balance, and your membership tier may adjust accordingly.
